LOOKING TO START YOUR OWN SITE?

For web hosting, this site uses and Cassie recommends DreamHost for site hosting and email. They were more affordable blogging resources than some of the other hosting services also promoted by WordPress. There are plans to grow into if I outgrow this one, so I feel confident I won’t need to change hosting providers any time soon. This is good because I hate moving in general!

FREE BLOGGING RESOURCES: STOCK IMAGES

I love using stock images – photography is not my forte! I am always on the lookout for free blogging resources, especially when it comes to stock photos. These are the sites I frequent to make my site look more polished:

Unsplash – This gem was recommended by fellow blogger Grace from Prayers and Passports and it is amazing! Thousands of professional images to use. Credit is not required, but you can also download credit badges for the photographers whose work you use. I love so many photographers on this site, but so far I really seem to be downloading a lot of Debby Hudson’s work.

Ivory Mix – One of the first sites I found offering free stock images. It upped my blogging (and Pinterest) game instantly!

Haute Stock – 21 free images instantly and free images every month just for signing up for their newsletter!

INTERESTED IN CASHBACK APPS & SURVEYS?

THESE ARE THE ONES I USE

Fetch Rewards – Download the app through Google Play or Apple App Store and use referral code 8H9Y1

Scan receipts from grocery and convenience store purchases and earn points to redeem toward gift cards to major retailers such as AMC Theatres, iTunes, or treat yourself to a free dinner at restaurants such as Buffalo Wild Wings. There are way too many to name them all. This has become my favorite app since it is so easy to accrue points; just scan your receipts and watch them add up! I don’t have to find specific item purchases to qualify for points.

Ibotta – Click here to Sign up. Referral Code: itxrhcs

This app gives you cashback for items you already buy. This works best if you are a name-brand buyer. The majority of offers for name brand items, but there are several any item offers listed periodically throughout most categories. It takes a bit to earn enough to cash out if you are a generic shopper like myself, but it is still cashback.

Swagbuckshttp://www.swagbucks.com/?cmd=sb-register&rb=58024966&cmp=197&cxid=2002-app

Ebateshttps://go.ebat.es/0E8TVZJTsX

Earn cash back on your online purchases from major retailers such as Amazon, Carter’s, and Sam’s Club and many more when you shop through Ebates.

Inbox Dollars – https://www.inboxdollars.com/r/1672471916?ref_src=link

Answer surveys in your spare time to earn cash. Log in while you wait in line at the DMV or have some downtime at home and earn some pocket change for spending money.
